fats® LIVE is an innovative hybrid training system that combines the best of virtual training with the unmatched realism of live fire shooting. fats® LIVE represents a leap forward in technology-driven training solutions for defense forces, law enforcement agencies, and commercial shooting range owners. Shooters fire live weapons at realistic scenarios projected on a self-healing rubber screen, designed to endure thousands of rounds with instant data capture and reporting.
This system not only enhances the realism and effectiveness of training programs but also ensures that users can train in a safe and controlled environment. By integrating live fire exercises with high-definition virtual scenarios, trainees are better prepared for real-world situations, improving their decision-making skills and reaction times.
fats® LIVE uses a dual camera hit detection system. This system allows the system to be used with live fire weapons and FATS simulation weapons. This dual-camera system also allows for a simple and quick setup and calibration of the system. Feedback from the system will include shot location, hit/miss, score (if applicable), split times between shots, group diameter, mean point of impact for groups, and site correction information.
fats® LIVE uses durable, self-healing rubber that withstands up to 80,000 rounds. The standard screen measures 118.1 by 66.4 inches, fitting across two firing lanes or customizable for other setups. Available in fixed or portable formats, the portable option includes a lightweight aluminum frame, while fixed systems are mounted to the range’s baffle system.
