Automatic Grenade Launcher Simulators

40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher System (Mk19, GMG, L134A1, C16)

Now you can train on common AGLS platforms realistically through an advanced simulated system. Eliminate the high cost of live training, yet still have the necessary precision training experience.

The InVeris family of Automatic Grenade Launcher Systems includes the MK19 and GMG platforms in use by more than 30 nations. The Mk19 and GMG simulators are true to form, constructed from the original weapons or from manufacturer-produced non-gun receivers. Air and data tethering ensures the highest possible fidelity in terms of recoil and high volumes of fire.

Collaborative crew training for platoon and company fire support. The simulator supports both Individual and collective training, ranging from loading and sighting drills to detachment-level training and collective section- level assaults. Normally operated by a detachment of three soldiers, AGLS employment requires that commanders, gun controllers and gunners understand the principles of employing grenade fire. Trainees also must grasp the capabilities and limitations weapon system. With a thorough understanding of the handling drills, capabilities and limitations of the weapon in a simulated environment, crews will be prepared for real-life execution of commands.

Sighting: Day, night and all weather. With a variety of day and night scenarios, the AGLS can be used for most medium-range infantry support situations. The simulated thermal sight further enables crews to engage targets during all weather conditions at all light levels.

Ammunition: Diverse High Velocity 40mm x 53mm grenades at 340-390 rounds per minute. The simulators perform to the standard cyclic rate of the live weapon systems. Ammunition includes but is not limited to:

  • M383A1 High Explosive
  • M385 Target Practice
  • M430A1 High Explosive Dual Purpose
  • M918 Target Practice

Simulators support both direct and indirect fire operation.

Targets: Versatility. The simulator enables training against light armored vehicles, light fortifications and troops in the open.
Range: Up to 2000 meters. You can engage personnel, point, area and vehicle targets up to a range of 2,000 meters.
Configurations: Each AGLS platform incorporates sights, furniture and features unique to the country’s configuration. Crews can train the multiple tripod configurations in three different firing positions.
