Virtual to live fire: InVeris Training Solutions invites Land Forces 2021 attendees to experience its unrivaled military training portfolio.

Suwanee, GA, May 10, 2021 — InVeris Training Solutions, the leading provider of integrated live fire and virtual weapons training systems and services for domestic and international military and law enforcement, will display a broad range of innovative solutions during Land Forces on June 1-3, 2021 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in Queensland, Australia. Land Forces will mark InVeris’ first major Pacific Rim trade show following its rebranding in October 2020 from Meggitt Training Systems.

“InVeris Training Solutions has been present in Australia for more than two decades in support of our military and law enforcement customers there,” said Andrea Czop, vice president of strategy, sales and marketing. “We look forward at Land Forces 2021 to reinforcing how our advanced virtual, live fire and integrated solutions can help Australian and other military forces across the Asia-Pacific region better prepare to counter emerging and evolving threats.”

The company will display its all-new, advanced training solution called the VR-DT (Virtual Reality – Decisions and Tactics). The system uses the latest fully immersive virtual reality technology for training de-escalation of force in a wide variety of critical, real-world situations. California’s Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (CA POST), which oversees training statewide, is the solution’s launch customer.

InVeris will also demonstrate the FATS® 180MIL simulation training system that puts users in the action, facing realistic pressures displayed on three ultra-short-throw projection screens while maintaining situational awareness. The system utilizes the same high-fidelity ballistic engine validated by the US Army, Marine Corps and other military customers. It also formed the basis for the Army’s Squad Advanced Marksmanship Training (SAM-T) program. The FATS 180MIL at Land Forces will be complemented by wireless BlueFire® 9mm Browning Mk3 pistol and EF88 assault rifle simulated weapons. For more than three decades, FATS has been the leader in virtual training, serving as the system of record for NATO military forces and other allies, along with law enforcement departments around the world.

The company will also showcase its extensive live fire portfolio, including models of three key products: The GranTrap™ granulated rubber bullet trap, the Road Range™ self-contained, transportable weapons training facility, and the Shoot House for Optimized for Tactical Training or SHOTT™ House. Targeting systems will also feature prominently, including the XWT, the industry’s first wireless, 360-degree turning target retrieval system, as well as the Multi-Function Stationary Infantry Target (MF-SIT) that can respond to hits or a pre-programmed scenario, ensuring trainees do not anticipate target actions. Finally, the LOMAH (location of miss and hit) system provides the information needed to accurately display shot grouping and zeroing of weapons more effectively, resulting in improved marksmanship skills. Combined with a variety of shooting lanes and control systems, no other company can provide a comparable total firing range solution.
