Job Designation

Travel to customer site: install and train the customer on the operation of virtual weapons training equipment sold by InVeris Training Solutions Inc.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Install InVeris virtual training equipment and train the users in proper operation and maintenance.
  • Trouble-shoot problems, both mechanical and electrical, and determine and implement solutions.
  • Prepare written reports of all installation and service activities.
  • Deal with customers in person and by phone to help them trouble shoot and correct problems.
  • When in the office, assist the help desk operators on calls.
  • Occasional site repair visits.
  • When not busy with service or installation, help in other areas of the company as needed, such as manufacturing, shipping, inventory area, etc.
  • Help edit or revise documentation for the installation, operations, and maintenance of InVeris virtual training equipment.
  • Assist with creating lanes, video, CGI courses.
  • Work on other assignments as assigned.

Job Specifications

  • Must have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while traveling on the road.
  • Must have an understanding of computer software: MSFT Windows XP and 7 base systems.
  • Ability to read engineering prints and schematics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems.
  • Must be proficient with a computer,
  • Ability to install software and hardware and be a knowledgeable user of Microsoft products.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a driving record that is acceptable to InVeris Training Solutions insurance provider.
  • Must have your own credit card or have individual credit that will allow the issue of a company credit card.

 Education

  • High School Diploma

Experience 

  • Military or Law Enforcement background desired

Material & Equipment directly used

  • Small hand tools and various handheld trouble shooting devices.

Working Environment/Physical Activities (or Limitations)

  • This position requires travel up to 85%-95% of the time, with typical installation assignments lasting 3 -5 work days and periodic assignments of up to several weeks, including weekends. At times lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs.
